S/he will not only implement this program, but will also provide key technical support on the area of response to CESVI’s partners and community actors. S/he will know key child protection and GBV actors in Kenya, understand the legal framework and identify gaps in services. They will be dedicated to ending child abuse and have direct experience in working with child and adult survivors of GBV. Experience of report writing and an excellent use of excel is also necessary for this position. Some basic knowledge of the CP IMS would also be beneficial, but is not a requirement. They will not only believe in the rights of children, but also have an interest in promoting the rights of women and girls and human rights in general. S/he will be a proven team player and will be supported by experienced CESVI staff. S/he will have a proven record of managing large protection programs and large numbers of staff members. This position is 80% based in the field and so the right person for this position must be comfortable with spending long periods of time in isolated locations.
