Job Title: Head of Corporate Communications at Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) in Nairobi The Kenya National Examinations Council wishes to recruit self motivated and qualified Professionals for the vacant positions listed below. HEAD OF CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS – KNEC SCALE EC 13 The main role for the Head of Corporate Communications will be to promote KNEC’s image and also act as a link between the Council and the public. Duties and Responsibilities:     Design, develop and implement KNEC’s Strategic Corporate Communication policies;     Organize and oversee KNEC’s Corporate affairs, events and Public Relations activities;     Ensure timely and accurate responses to enquiries from both internal and external clients;     Coordinate timely publications of Council’s newsletters and any other information materials;     Research, gather, analyze and disseminate correct information to the target audience in an easy and understandable manner;     Draft and edit appropriate messages, including presentations, speeches, press releases, weekly updates and newsletters on the corporate mission and vision;     Prepare the communications budget in consultation with the relevant department(s);     Prepare and make appropriate follow – up of corporate advertisements for print, electronic and outdoor media
