Role: Director, Health Markets   Reports To: Country Director   Liaises With: Country Management Team   Duty Station: Support Office, Nairobi with constant travel to field sites.   Purpose of the role   Leading a cross-functional team, this role will focus on the following  1) strategic management and development of the Marie Stopes Social Franchise branded “Amua”;  2) strategic management and development of demand generation activities;  3) strategic management and development of social marketing activities – including MA OOC.  In all aspects, cross functional collaboration and teamwork will be essential.   As a member of the country management team (CMT), the Health Markets Director will contribute to the shaping and fulfillment of MSK’s strategic direction.  The Director will work collaboratively with other CMT members to ensure operational synergies are optimized through cross-functional working.   He/she will also work closely with the Director of Programmes and Country Director to build and maintain excellent donor and stakeholder relations, including the development of new business for MSK.   The Director will oversee a growing department, with direct line management of the Amua Social Franchising Manager, the Manager, Social Marketing and the Demand Creation Manager.
